High in the misty mountains of Jalisco, Mexico, a legacy that began nearly a century ago continues to mature and evolve with the times. Tequila CAZADORES, a name synonymous with premium tequila crafted from 100% blue Weber agave, has always remained faithful to its heritage. Yet today, CAZADORES is expanding beyond the bottle, capturing the spirit of Mexican tradition and artistry through an unexpected yet fitting new medium—tableware.

In an exciting collaboration, Tequila CAZADORES and actress Francia Raísa have introduced The Cocina Collection, a limited-edition home entertaining line that celebrates the richness of Mexican artistry and tradition. Inspired by CAZADORES’ motto, "Real Tequila for Real People," the collection promises elegance and brings a touch of Mexico’s timeless culture to tables worldwide.

For Raísa, a Mexican-Honduran American who champions her heritage in every aspect of her work, this collaboration is far more than a business endeavor. “I’ve always loved entertaining and hosting; it’s part of who I am,” Raísa shares. “It’s an honor to bring a piece of our culture to the table, blending tradition with modern elegance.” With each item handcrafted by artisans across Mexico, The Cocina Collection isn’t just tableware; it’s a celebration of a shared culture, a testament to generations-old craftsmanship, and an invitation to revel in the spirit of togetherness.

The Artisans and the Artistry of Mexico

Each piece in The Cocina Collection draws inspiration from the colors of Tequila CAZADORES’ tequila line, from the crisp, clean white of Blanco to the warm golden hues of Reposado. The designs are both practical and beautiful, incorporating items like woven placemats, hand-formed clay plates, and glassware crafted through the traditional “Soplado” or glass-blowing technique. Every piece tells a story, not only of Mexican culture but of the artisans who bring it to life. In Dolores Hidalgo, the clay craftsmanship is reflected in the earthy tones and smooth finishes of pieces crafted by artisans at the Godinez Hernandez workshop.

This clay work, which captures the spirit of the highland soil that nurtures CAZADORES’ blue agave, represents a long-standing cultural legacy. In Mitla, Oaxaca, the vibrant weaving culture comes alive through textiles created at Casa Textil Mendez. Every placemat and napkin is meticulously woven by artisans whose techniques have been honed over centuries, adding a warm and authentic touch to the table that seamlessly blends functionality with artistry. Meanwhile, in Tonalá, Jalisco, artisans at Casa Venegas use the traditional “Soplado” technique to create unique glassware, echoing the character and soul of Jalisco itself. Each glass stands as a vessel, crafted not only for practical use but as an invitation to gather, sip, and savor.

While The Cocina Collection brings the artistry of Mexican craftsmanship into each dining experience, Tequila CAZADORES stands at the heart of this collaboration, its lineup of tequilas embodying a longstanding commitment to tradition. CAZADORES’ Blanco is unaged and pure, offering the full, unfiltered flavor of blue Weber agave with bright notes of citrus and fragrant herbs—a perfect choice for both cocktails and sipping neat. Reposado, aged for up to a year in American oak barrels, harmonizes the flavors of agave and wood, mingling tropical fruit with a subtle vanilla finish. For a more layered experience, Añejo, aged at least a year, provides rich, deep agave flavors highlighted by cinnamon, vanilla, nuts, and a smoky, peppery touch. Each tequila pairs effortlessly with The Cocina Collection, promising an experience where taste and tradition converge, lingering in memory as long as the flavors themselves.

A Commitment to Culture and Community

The Cocina Collection extends beyond aesthetics; it’s also part of a greater mission to support the Hispanic community. Tequila CAZADORES has pledged $20,000 to the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF), a nonprofit that advocates for Hispanic culture through education, workforce development, and social impact initiatives. Raísa, a former ambassador for the HHF, sees this partnership as a continuation of her work to uplift and support her community. "It shows that CAZADORES also sees the value and impact of the tremendous work the Hispanic Heritage Foundation has done and continues to do," she notes with pride.

This financial support, alongside the artisanal collaboration, reflects CAZADORES’ belief that tradition and progress go hand in hand—a belief that echoes throughout the collection itself.

Bringing The Cocina Collection to Life

Starting Thursday, October 24, The Cocina Collection will be available for purchase through Tequila CAZADORES’ official website. The collection is more than tableware; it’s an invitation to gather, to savor, and to celebrate. Each piece serves as a reminder of heritage, a celebration of artistry, and an opportunity to share in something real. As Jay Needham, Brand Director of Tequila CAZADORES, reflects, “This collection is a culmination of not only Tequila CAZADORES values but Francia's as well. We are thrilled to offer consumers the opportunity to bring the essence of 'Real Tequila for Real People' to life through this collection.”

The Cocina Collection isn’t just about tequila, clay, or textiles. It’s a tribute to a shared culture, crafted by hands that know the value of patience, precision, and passion. It’s an opportunity to set the table with pieces that carry a story as rich and complex as the tequila in each glass, inspiring a moment of togetherness, laughter, and joy. In a world that’s increasingly fast-paced, Tequila CAZADORES and Francia Raísa remind us to slow down, gather, and savor the experience—one sip, one plate, one memory at a time.
